The Fog is Lifting

I've totally dropped the ball on my 2014 goals/January goals. But with good reason... I'm pregnant with baby #3!

The first trimester has been kicking my tail! Geez! I am completely exhausted and nap almost daily. I've been walking around like I have cobwebs in my head. It's such a weird feeling and I don't remember feeling this worn out with either of the girls. It's fairly exhausting. I know part of it is because I'm already caring for 2 little ones.

And please don't even ask about cooking! We have enjoyed too much canned soup, spaghettio's and saltine crackers. There for awhile I'd eat a whole sleeve of saltines and drink a Sprite to settle my stomach and that's all I'd have for a few hours.

The good news, the past 2 weeks I've had more good days than foggy days. And I'm thankful for that! I even cooked dinner all week last week. That was a big deal! I planned ahead and did some freezer cooking for the week ahead when I felt really well. I'm glad I did because when it came time for dinner every night I didn't feel at all like standing and cooking. Good thing all I had to do was throw something in the oven! Planning ahead saved my neck! And I was able to feed Daniel and the girls well, something that hasn't happened lately.

All-in-all, the first trimester has been a tough one this time around. But I'm doing better each day. The weather is supposed to be nice and warm this week and that will help my sanity tremendously. Being cooped up inside has not helped one bit!

So, that's what's been happening in our home the past few weeks. Hence the reason I haven't blogged at all and Daniel has been taking care of it. But I'm getting back in it. Hang with me!
